Dallas Overhead Cranes

Our San Antonio overhead cranes are heavy duty systems used to move extremely heavy and/or bulky loads. We use the overhead space in a facility to move objects securely and safely. 

When it comes to overhead cranes, they are heavy duty equipment and can malfunction just like anything else. The number one issue with overhead cranes is caused within the wiring throughout the crane. Common issues that cause wire failure are overloaded cranes, fatigues cranes, or under serviced cranes. 

Because overhead cranes are extremely powerful, they must be operated by a trained professional. Common hazards of crane operations are shifting loads, falling of load, object coming into contact with a person or stationary object causing damage. High speed operations, poo communication, and poor visibility are common reason for user error when operating an overhead crane. 

 Any crane operator operating overhead cranes above 2,000 lbs. will need to be certified by an accredited crane operator testing center. A recommended testing company would be the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
